Objective: To improve the quality of life for Muscovites by developing a sustainable, cost-effective and attractive municipal transport system accessible to the entire city population, including the development of water and railway transport

Bus terminals and transport hubs

Target outcomes

  • To streamline inter-city and international passenger traffic
  • To reduce the number of unauthorised bus terminals
  • To reduce passenger transfer times at major transport hubs to 4-9 minutes
  • To reduce load on motorways leading to Moscow by 14,000-20,000 private cars during morning peak hours (reduce the number of commuters entering the city by 17,000-24,000)
  • To reduce the number of private cars on motorways leading to central Moscow by 11,000-16,500 (by 13,200-20,000 commuters)
