Municipality Koptevo

Coat of arms and flag

Shield, Moscow shape. Party per bend. Dexter, Azure. Charge, sun Or in splendour, with alternating 8 straight and 8 wavy rays. Sinister, Or. Charge, stork volant in proper colours.

The Moscow shape shield is divided obliquely from right. The right, bottom field is blue and depicts the sun, in gold, with eight straight and eight wavy rays alternating. The left, top field is gold and depicts a flying stork in natural colours.

The stork symbolizes the district’s numerous educational establishments. The sun shows its beauty and comfort, and symbolizes religious revival — particularly, the construction of St George’s Church entirely on public donations.

The flag of the Koptevo Municipal District is a two-sided rectangle with a 2:3 width to length ratio.

It is divided from the hoist obliquely. The top field is yellow and the bottom blue. Depicted in the blue field is a yellow sun with alternating rays — 8 straight and 8 wavy. The size of the image is 3/8 of the flag’s length and 9/16 of its width. The centre is 5/24 of the flag’s length off the hoist edge and 5/16 of the flag’s width off the bottom edge.

Depicted in the yellow field is a flying stork of natural colours. The size of the image is 1/2 of the flag’s length and 9/16 of its width. The centre is 1/3 of the flag’s length off the fly edge and 3/8 of the flag’s width off the top edge.
