Shield: Moscow shape. Party per fess embattled Or, masoned Sable. Chief, Vert. Charge, an elk attired, Or, trippant facing Dexter. Base, Gules. Charge, circle Sable, bordured Argent and truncated at the bottom. Inscribed is a pick, point Dexter chief, superimposed by a rock drill, point Dexter base, both Argent.


The Moscow shape shield is divided by a horizontal belt of gold battlements crossed by black lines imitating brickwork. The top field is green and depicts a gold elk with antlers, running right. The bottom field is red and depicts a black circle truncated at the bottom and bordered in silver. Inscribed in it is a silver pick, point right up, superimposed by a silver rock drill, point right down.


The elk on green symbolizes the Losiny Ostrov (Elk Isle) nature reserve — a forest in which elks abound. The black circle in the red field symbolizes a metro tunnel, and the pick, rock drill and gold battlements, all symbolizing construction, reflect the name of the district, which means in Russian «metro township» as it was a neighbourhood of the first Moscow metro builders.


The flag of the Metrogorodok Municipal District is a two-sided rectangle with a 2:3 width to length ratio.

The flag is divided horizontally by a yellow crenellated bar crossed by black lines imitating brickwork. Its width is 3/20 of the flag’s width.

The top field is green and depicts a yellow running elk. The size of the image is 4/15 of the v length and 3/8 of its width. Its centre is at an equal distance from the flag edges, 9/40 of the flag’s length from the top edge.

The bottom field is red and depicts a white-contoured black circle with a pick crossed by a rock drill inscribed. The circle is shifted toward the bottom and truncated. Its size is 9/30 of the flag’s length and 3/8 of its width.
